UNI Military and Veteran Student Services (MVSS) role is to support military members, veterans, and their families at UNI as they transition between military duty, college, and new careers. There is a on-campus veterans center, with a full time coordinator, dedicated to the success of military and veteran students. The student organization, UNI Veterans Association (UNIVA) is made up of military members, veterans, family members, and allies at the University of Northern Iowa. They work closely with the Military and Veterans Student Services Coordinator planning events and meetings on campus.
